2014 Infiniti Q50 Leaked

A sharp eyed reader on the Infiniti G37 enthusiast forum myg37.com has managed to screencap the premature showing of the new Infiniti Q50 on Infiniti Canada’s website. Infiniti Canada has since pulled the image. The Q50 is Infiniti’s replacement for the aging G37, and competes with the new BMW 3 series, Cadillac ATS, and the upcoming 2014 Lexus IS. The car is expected to be unveiled fully at the Detroit Autoshow later next week.

Update: click past the jump for a slew of leaked official photos.

This leak comes just hours after a teaser shot of the rear 3/4 of a mystery car was leaked on Facebook.

Which has now been confirmed to be of the Q50.

The images all give us a good glimpse into what we can expect from Infiniti’s new sport sedan. Up front we see the incorporation of Infiniti’s new corporate grill and headlight design. The lower bumper intakes are a bit reminiscent of those on the Cadillac CTS-V and the overall design is quite agressive as expected. At the back we’re getting a decidedly Lexus vibe, particularly with the C-pillar kink and outer headlight designs.

Update: More photos have been leaked:

Says the expert on car design. Please go sit down. In the end it is the suppliers that decide what a car will look like in the end and they do not care whether or not it looks similar to another car, unless it blatantly violates design patents.

  2. James says:

Just beautiful, I dont know why there is some one that has to criticize about everything . Usually those are who can’t afford it.
